Denver Senior Events

This calendar lists events for seniors, boomers, older adults and family caregivers living in the greater Denver metro area. Many of the events feature companies and non-profit organizations presenting information to educate and inform seniors and their families on resources available in the community. Occasionally we include other events from the Colorado Front Range.

Slow Food Nations

Denver's Historic Larimer Square is backdrop for the third annual Slow Food Nations. The festival launches with a Colorado-themed block party and wraps up with the Zero Waste Community Supper made with tasty, unused food ingredients from the weekend.

Latino Festival 2019

This year the festival will be at the Westminster train Station and features Latin live music bands, from reggae, to Cuban Fusion, R&B Soul, and Regional Mexican, and some of the most delicious Latino and American food in town. Food booths and trucks representing most Latin American countries, as well as traditional American food staples, will be offering their specialties.

Arapahoe County Council on Aging

Industry minded professionals meet monthly from 1PM to 2:30PM to discuss senior issues in Arapahoe county including housing, transportation, meals, and hear presentations about issues important to seniors. This monthly meeting is usually held on the 4th Monday of every month with holiday exceptions. There are no dues required and this is a great opportunity for industry minded professionals to gather to discuss the needs of seniors in our county and the services available to them. Please bring your brochures, flyers and announcements.
