Denver Senior Events

This calendar lists events for seniors, boomers, older adults and family caregivers living in the greater Denver metro area. Many of the events feature companies and non-profit organizations presenting information to educate and inform seniors and their families on resources available in the community. Occasionally we include other events from the Colorado Front Range.

Candlelight Walk Downtown Littleton

The Littleton Candlelight Walk is a festive celebration of holiday lights and music for the entire family. Enjoy hot cider, listen to holiday music and see reindeer! Santa Claus and his sleigh will start down Main Street at 6:30PM magically illuminating more than one million lights in the trees as he passes each block. When he reaches the end of Main Street, Santa throws the switch on the big Christmas Tree in the plaza. Donations of non-perishable food for Inter-Faith Community Services are accepted during the evening as well as toys for the Arapahoe Santa Claus Shop. Free Memory Screenings in November

The National Memory Screening Program and Lutheran Family Services are offering free confidential memory screenings every Thursday in November from 10AM to Noon at the Lutheran Family Services Office located at 363 S. Harlan St, Suite 200, Denver. Each memory screening takes about 10 minutes. The result is not a diagnosis, but can suggest if someone should see a physician for a full evaluation View Event Flyer
