Find a The Death Cafe Event

With a Death Cafe, the idea is to get people from all backgrounds together over tea, coffee and delicious cake, to simply talk about death, a normal aspect of life that is generally feared by our culture. The hope of the Death Cafe movement is to simply normalize this phase of life by allowing groups of people to talk about death. The Senior Adult Learning Center
Where: The Senior Adult Learning Center, 506 SW Mill St Portland State University (map)
The Senior Adult Learning Center is located at the main counter of the Institute on Aging, on the 4th floor of the Urban Center building, next to the Institute on Aging office manager. The Senior Adult Learning Center offers access to most of PSU's classes to Oregon residents who are 65 and older. Whether you are interested in History, Jazz, Literature, Geography, Phys Ed classes, or many more, we’ll have something for you. Seniors can audit classes without paying tuition if space is available. Learn More
