Professional Home Care in Colorado
DignityFirst Health at Home was founded in 1999 with a mission of making the elder care experience a better one. The core of our approach is to incorporate a ‘DignityFirst Care Manager’ with our home care services. A ‘Care Manager’ is a credentialed expert in senior care with a specialty in social work, nursing or mental health. With the oversight of a Care Manager we see and do things that other home care services miss.
We offer a variety of services that assist seniors to stay in their homes or if they have chosen to move to a senior housing community, our caregivers are available to help with additional care services and oversight no matter where the senior calls home.
If you are caring for a senior from a distance, then our highly trained Care Managers can provide you with regular updates while our Caregivers can fill in with services that enhance the quality of life of your family member. Learn more about our services:
The DignityFirst Caregiver is the core of your family member’s at-home care experience. We carefully pair every elderly client with the most suitable Caregiver. Our Caregivers are trained through the DignityFirst University and all of our Caregivers are supervised by a DignityFirst Geriatric Care Manager. We scrupulously, conduct national background checks and drug testing on all of our employees. DignityFirst, Inc. is fully bonded and has workers’ compensation coverage.
- Care Management
Every family situation is special and unique. Our professional Care Managers are credentialed experts in ‘geriatric care.’ Our Care Managers work closely with our clients and their families to assess their specific situation and offer guidance through a custom ‘Plan of Care.’ The day-to-day and long term care goals outlined in the Plan of Care are then implemented through the Caregiver with oversight by the Care Manager. The goals of the Plan of Care are updated and revised as needed ensuring the highest level of care to the senior client.
- Alzheimer's-Dementia Care and Support
When someone receives a diagnosis of dementia, most seniors and their families don't know what to expect or how to begin the process of planning the required care. DignityFirst does understand and our teams of experienced professionals have extensive dementia care training. We use a holistic approach that involves good communication, managing behaviors, enhancing the quality of life and developing a ‘Plan of Care’ that is modified as needs change.
- Long Distance Senior Care
If you are caring for elderly parents at a distance, you are not alone. DignityFirst can ensure that your loved one will get the care you would give if you were there. From our trained Caregivers to our Care Managers, we have enabled thousands of seniors to stay at home safely and given family members peace of mind.
- Disability Care at Home
A growing number of older adults are responsible for the care of their mentally, physically, or developmentally disabled adult child. As these parents age, they become less able to provide direct care for their children. DignityFirst has a solution. In the same way that we approach eldercare, we can help the senior and the family with a plan that specifically addresses the special circumstances of aging parents with dependent adult children.
